You are passionate about crafting unforgettable events and brand experiences and thrive on understanding clients’ objectives and surpassing their expectations. A creative spirit and a dynamic team player and leader, you bring organization and energy to the RFP process and are driven by winning. You understand all the expertise it takes to deliver a winning solution and are masterful in orchestrating them for excellence.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead exciting new and existing client pitches with energy and clarity of thought
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Strategic Planning, Creative, Production, Logistics, Technical) to deliver exceptional experiences that align with industry trends and meet the needs of our customers
- Dissect briefs and challenge clients positively in the Q&A phase to get to the crux of the matter and help decide ‘what will make us win’
- Collaborate with the Key Account Director or New Business Director to develop comprehensive pitch budgets as part of the go/no-go process
- Meticulously plan the pitch development to ensure colleagues get involved at the right time with clear roles & responsibilities and timed deliverables
- Orchestrate and lead kick-off meetings and internal briefings to develop winning RFP approaches
- Ensure seamless and enjoyable proposal development that achieves client satisfaction and business objectives
- Be a voice of reason to ensure feasibility and viability with the implementation team
- Lead the egg proposition and be the guardian of the overall event brand experience
- Write and own the overall proposal (or assign responsibilities to write it)
- Be on the lookout for continuous improvement ideas to stand out in the market
- Present egg's response to the client with the appropriate team and ensure a smooth hand-over to the implementation/production team
Must haves
(We really mean it. Candidates who do not meet the following criteria will not be considered.)
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in B2B events
- Solid experience in event management and strategic communication in an agency
- Native-level fluency in spoken and written English (No scrambled oeufs at egg, svp.)
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Data-driven, budget-conscious, commercial, creative problem solver
- Excellent presentation and communication skills and experience pitching to executive stakeholders, customers, and partners
- Process and methodology oriented
- Copywriting, storytelling and editing skills experience (in English)
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint
Nice to haves
- Be an advocate for ESG creative solutions
- Fluency in additional languages (besides English)
- Experience in event marketing
